Tranche 1 Progress Update

Good morning everyone,

It's been a busy time for us as we look to catch-up from this years unforeseen delay and deliver Active Travel schemes for the benefit of residents and visitors. As a progress report we've since actioned the following;

  • More cycle parking is being created for staff and visitors to SMEs via our partnership with ParkthatBike;
  • We're now on site at Shaftesbury Avenue adding another 900m of modern shared use cycleway to our network;
  • Luke's Lane has been a success and we're taking steps to make this scheme a permanent feature, and;
  • We have installed another temporary closure at Moor Lane between Station Approach and Broadlands- just in time for the half term holidays.

    • For the latter we will be monitoring this site closely and is considered to be a temporary measure. For further information please feel free to contact us in the usual manner.
